We are seeking a highly skilled General Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the Hotel or Holiday Homes sector to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: As our General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Budget Management: Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets to ensure financial goals are met. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable processes, including accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and liaising with tax authorities as necessary. Financial Reporting: Preparing comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis for internal and external stakeholders. Audit Support: Coordinating and facilitating financial audits and ensuring audit readiness. Forecasting: Collaborating on financial forecasting and planning to support strategic decision-making. Software Proficiency: Utilizing accounting software and tools efficiently to streamline financial processes. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in the Hotel or Holiday Homes industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
