General Accountant

to join our finance team.

We are seeking a qualified

General Accountant

with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in hotel accounting within Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, supporting management with accurate MIS reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting. Prepare accurate and timely

Management Information System (MIS)

reports in collaboration with the senior finance team. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Monitor and reconcile all balance sheet accounts and inter-company transactions. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and hotel industry financial standards. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required. Maintain financial records and documentation for internal and external reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum

4 years of experience

as a General Accountant in the

hotel industry in Dubai

. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, IFRS, and hotel accounting practices. Proven experience in preparing MIS reports (training/support will be provided as needed). Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and accounting software. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
