The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring that all garments produced meet the company's quality standards. This includes monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and identifying any defects or inconsistencies. The role involves working closely with the production, sampling, and finishing teams to maintain high product quality and reduce rework or rejections.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, trims, and fabrics before production (pre-production inspection).
Conduct in-line inspections during various stages of stitching and finishing.
Perform final inspections before packing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify defects and provide feedback to the production team for corrective action.
Maintain detailed records of inspection reports and defect rates.
Ensure adherence to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
Monitor and ensure compliance with client specifications and approved samples.
Train production workers on quality standards and best practices.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Assist in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in garment manufacturing QC.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, and finishing.
Familiarity with different types of fabrics, trims, and print/embroidery methods.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
