Garage Manager

to oversee our workshop operations, ensuring fleet readiness, safety, and compliance with UAE standards.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive efficiency, manage people and resources effectively, and maintain the highest standards of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee

daily workshop and garage operations

, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime. Lead, supervise, and develop a team of

technicians, mechanics, electricians, and support staff

. Establish and monitor

preventive and corrective maintenance schedules

for the fleet to ensure maximum availability. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to vehicles, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and RTA standards. Manage

spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory

, ensuring availability while controlling costs. Implement and monitor

workshop budgets

, optimize expenses, and reduce operational wastage. Enforce strict

health, safety, and environmental compliance

across all garage operations. Coordinate with

Fleet and Operations Departments

to align maintenance schedules with operational needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date

records of repairs, inspections, warranties, and service history

. Conduct regular

training, performance reviews, and skill development

for garage staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with

suppliers, dealers, and third-party service providers

. Provide management with regular reports on

fleet performance, maintenance costs, and workshop KPIs

.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma

in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field. Minimum

7-10 years of progressive experience

managing a garage/workshop, preferably in transportation, limousine, logistics, or fleet-based industries. Strong

technical expertise

in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical/electrical systems, and preventive maintenance strategies. Proven experience in

leadership and staff management

, including training, motivation, and conflict resolution. In-depth knowledge of

UAE regulations, RTA compliance, and safety standards

for commercial vehicles. Strong financial acumen with the ability to

manage workshop budgets, reduce costs, and improve efficiency

. Hands-on experience with

garage management software, ERP systems, or fleet maintenance platforms

. Excellent communication and reporting skills in

English and Arabic (mandatory)

. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
