We are seeking a meticulous and experienced

Garage Insurance Estimator

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the damage to vehicles involved in accidents, preparing accurate repair estimates, and assisting the insurance claims process. The role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, repair costs, and the ability to work closely with insurance companies, repair shops, and policyholders.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Damage Assessment:

Inspect and assess the damage to vehicles involved in accidents or incidents. Document the extent of damage and determine whether the vehicle is repairable or deemed a total loss.

Estimate Repair Costs:

Work with auto repair shops or in-house technicians to get accurate estimates for repairs. Calculate the cost of parts, labor, and any other required services.

Prepare Insurance Reports:

Prepare detailed reports for insurance companies, outlining the damage, cost estimates, and any additional repairs needed. Ensure reports comply with the guidelines and standards of the insurance company.

Communication with Stakeholders:

Communicate with the policyholders, repair shops, and insurance adjusters to clarify the claim details. Provide recommendations based on the assessment of the vehicle's damage.

Negotiation:

Assist in negotiating repair costs and settlement terms between the insurance company and the repair shop or customer.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

Keep up with the latest automotive repair techniques and industry standards to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

Handling Claims Process:

Assist in processing claims and ensuring they are finalized promptly. Support the claims department in any additional inquiries or questions regarding the estimates.

Skills & Qualifications:

Automotive Knowledge:

o Deep understanding of vehicle mechanics, repair processes, and common vehicle damage types.

Analytical Skills:

o Ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and estimate repair costs.

3.

Attention to Detail:

o Precision in documenting damage and preparing reports that adhere to insurance standards.

4.

Communication Skills:

o Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, insurance companies, and repair shops.

5.

Experience:

o Previous experience (minimum 5 years) in the automotive industry, particularly in vehicle repairs or insurance claims, is often preferred.

Work Environment:

The position may involve working both in an office environment (for paperwork and communications) and on-site at a garage or accident site for assessments. Working hours can vary depending on the employer but often include regular office hours with some flexibility needed in case of emergency assessments.
