Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and develop bespoke furniture pieces, oversee FF&E selections, and create 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skills, and market knowledge to ensure designs are both aesthetically compelling and feasible for production.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative furniture collections aligned with the Company's design philosophy. Translate design briefs into detailed sketches, technical drawings, and 3D renderings. Prepare FF&E schedules, material specifications, and mood boards for projects. Collaborate with the production team and factory to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Source and specify materials, finishes, hardware, and upholstery options. Work closely with suppliers, craftsmen, and vendors to achieve the desired finish and quality. Produce high-quality 3D renderings to present design concepts. Support installation and on-site styling when required. Stay updated on global furniture design trends, sustainability practices, and new materials.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Furniture Designer (luxury residential or hospitality projects preferred). Strong knowledge of furniture construction, joinery, ergonomics, and finishes. Proficiency in 3D rendering software (3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar). Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office. Excellent visualization, drawing, and presentation skills. Strong communication and project management abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
