Role Overview:
As a Junior Furniture Designer, you will support our lead designers in conceptualizing, prototyping, and developing bespoke furniture pieces. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their design career who wants hands-on experience in a dynamic, design-led studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating initial sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings
Collaborate with senior designers on new product development and custom projects
Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations
Work closely with production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
Conduct market and trend research to contribute fresh ideas
Participate in client meetings to understand project briefs and requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or a related field
Strong skills in SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar 3D modeling and rendering tools
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
A good eye for proportion, detail, and materials
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
Passion for furniture, design innovation, and craftsmanship
Portfolio showcasing academic or freelance furniture work is a must

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
