We are looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter with experience in interior fit-out and maintenance works. The ideal candidate should be capable of manufacturing, repairing, installing, and maintaining wooden furniture and fixtures with high-quality finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and install wooden furniture such as cabinets, wardrobes, doors, shelves, and counters.
Carry out repair and maintenance of existing furniture and wooden fixtures.
Read and understand shop drawings and measurements.
Cut, shape, assemble, and fix wood materials using hand and power tools.
Install hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, and sliders.
Ensure proper finishing, alignment, and smooth surface quality.
Handle MDF, plywood, laminate, veneer, and solid wood materials.
Attend maintenance complaints and emergency carpentry works.
Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in fit-out and/or maintenance projects.
Good knowledge of furniture carpentry and installation.
Ability to read basic drawings and take site measurements.
Experience with modular furniture is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work at site.
UAE experience preferred.
