This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and furniture designs.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to make furniture and fixtures.
Install and fit furniture at project sites when required.
Smooth surfaces and apply finishing techniques such as sanding, varnishing, polishing, or painting.
Repair or refurbish existing furniture as needed.
Ensure all furniture meets quality standards and client specifications.
