Job Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for furniture. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Sand, finish, and polish furniture pieces to perfection. Repair or refurbish damaged or worn furniture. Work collaboratively with designers and other carpenters. Ensure quality control and maintain high standards in all projects. Follow all health and safety guidelines in the workshop.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter, especially in furniture making. Strong understanding of wood properties and carpentry techniques. Ability to use a wide range of tools and machinery. Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and quality. Physical strength and stamina. Strong work ethic and time management skills.

Preferred:

Formal training or apprenticeship in carpentry.
