Key Responsibilities:
Design, cut, assemble, and finish wooden furniture pieces such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and shelves.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to meet client or design requirements.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using tools such as rulers, saws, and chisels.
Operate woodworking machines and hand tools to cut, shape, and join wood.
Sand and polish surfaces to ensure a smooth and finished appearance.
Repair or refurbish existing furniture by replacing parts or reassembling joints.
