Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to build high-quality furniture items (e.g., tables, chairs, cabinets, beds).
Operate woodworking machines, such as saws, routers, jointers, and sanders.
Sand and finish surfaces using appropriate materials (stains, sealants, paints, etc.).
Repair or refurbish existing furniture as needed.
Ensure that all work meets industry standards for quality and safety.
Collaborate with designers, clients, and other team members to ensure design intent is achieved.
Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
