Job Overview:
We are looking for a
dynamic, smart, and hands-on WordPress Developer
who is not only skilled in web development but is also open to supporting various day-to-day operations at our flower shop. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, tech-savvy, and eager to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:Web & Tech Tasks:
Maintain and update our WordPress website (WooCommerce)
Fix bugs, optimize site speed, and manage plugins/themes
Upload new products with proper descriptions and images
Implement SEO best practices across the site
Creative & Marketing:
Handle basic
product photography
for flowers, gifts, and new arrivals
Design banners and graphics for website and social media (using Canva or Photoshop)
Post regular updates on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
Help with writing product descriptions and captions
Shop & Inventory Support:
Help in updating stock in the system
Coordinate with florists to ensure new products are online on time
Assist in any other shop-related tasks when required (like packing or support during peak hours)
Requirements:
Experience in WordPress (WooCommerce experience is a plus)
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and plugins
Photography skills (even with a good phone camera)
Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop or any design tools
Good written English for product/content updates
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
Bonus if You Have:
Experience in digital marketing or running ad campaigns
Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices
Experience working in a retail or flower shop environment
