Full-Stack WordPress Developer (Full-Time, On-Site -- Business Bay, Dubai)

About the Role

We're looking for a

highly skilled Full-Stack WordPress Developer

to take full ownership of our company website -- managing everything from front-end design to back-end development, integrations, and data management. You'll ensure our

WordPress + WooCommerce

setup is robust, secure, fast, and scalable to support our growing business.

This is a

full-time, in-office position based in Business Bay, Dubai.

You'll collaborate closely with the

Product Manager, Operations Manager, and CEO

, maintaining a site that's visually refined, technically solid, and aligned with business goals.

If you're someone who can move seamlessly between design adjustments, plugin development, and database optimization -- and you care about clean, maintainable code -- this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage

the full lifecycle of our WordPress website -- from technical architecture and codebase management to front-end design and daily updates.

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

, ensuring high-quality, secure, and modular code.

Oversee WooCommerce

-- managing products, orders, checkout flow, and payment gateway integrations.

Integrate APIs and third-party tools

(CRMs, analytics, automation, marketing, etc.) for seamless data flow.

Optimize site performance

through caching, compression, code optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements.

Monitor and maintain security

, including regular audits, plugin updates, backups, and SSL management.

Collaborate with design and marketing teams

to turn creative briefs into functional, responsive pages.

Troubleshoot and debug

issues related to performance, layout, integrations, and hosting environments.

Implement best practices

for version control (Git), documentation, and continuous improvement.

Stay up to date

with WordPress trends, updates, and emerging technologies to proactively recommend improvements.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of professional WordPress development experience

(agency or product company background preferred). Deep expertise in

WordPress and WooCommerce

, including theme and plugin development. Strong skills in

PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.

Experience integrating and managing

REST APIs

or webhook-based systems. Familiarity with

server administration

hosting environments

, and

version control (Git)

. Understanding of

SEO, performance optimization

, and responsive design best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and taking ownership of deliverables.
