Overview

+ Performs fuel testing utilizing equipment and test kits

Responsibilities

+ Receives fuel deliveries via Host Nation. Completes delivery paperwork.

+ Be proficient with Fuel inventory management and software.

+ Maintain Daily, Monthly fuel inventory.

+ Takes fuel samples of each delivery for analysis and records such.

+ Maintains the total area for proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness

+ Inspects fuel lines for leaks or damage. Notifies Mechanical Systems if repairs are needed.

+ Performs Hourly inspections of tanks, Lab and Berms.

+ Responsible for complying with departmental and Safety procedures.

+ Assists in Off-Loading operations

+ Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications

+ Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

+ A minimum of 40hr Hazwopper Cert., (or greater) is required to be always kept current during employment.

+ Must have three (3) years of experience in Fuels Laboratory Functions such as AFSC 2F0X1 or similar background.

+ Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver's License, and knowledge driving a standard transmission vehicle.

+ Must pass Controlled Movement Area flight line driving test upon arrival to site.

+ Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

+ Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.

+ Skills:

+ Excellent oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of OSHA standards 49 CFR Parts 192 and 193, 33 CFR Part 127, and 49 USC 60101 1926; 49 CFR HAZMAT; along with NIOSH and ANSI safety standards. Operation of monitoring and control systems to distribute fuel such as LNG.

+ This is a fast-paced working environment. These skills are vitally important for success in this position as this position is confronted with situations daily that require these skills along with flexibility, quick action, and extreme vigilance for safety.
