FRONT-END DEVELOPER WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN HTML

We are a one-stop-shop for highly sophisticated clients with complex business models in 4 market segments: construction and infrastructure, operations and facility management, manufacturing as well as the vertical Multiples, which comprises projects in AI and vertical farming amongst others.

JOB SUMMARY:

Front-End Developer with hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Intershop Commerce Suite to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our customer-facing web interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences, and aligning with our overall e-commerce strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Front-End Development:

Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks/libraries. Optimize front-end code for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Implement pixel-perfect UI designs from Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch in Intershop CMS environment.

Intershop Platform Integration:

Customize templates, layouts, and components within the Intershop Commerce Suite (CMS, Pagelets, Pipelines, REST API). Collaborate with back-end and DevOps teams to integrate APIs and ensure front-end alignment with business logic. Monitor and improve performance, SEO, and usability of Intershop-driven interfaces.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Provide technical input in planning, prototyping, and release cycles. Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.

Maintenance & Optimization:

Troubleshoot and fix bugs or layout issues in existing web applications. Stay updated on latest front-end trends, technologies, and Intershop developments. Maintain high coding standards and best practices in version control (Git), testing, and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in front-end development. At least 1-2 years of proven experience working with Intershop Commerce Suite. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript (ES6+), and familiarity with frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization tools. Understanding of RESTful APIs and AJAX. Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility (WCAG).
