Job Description

Staytus is seeking a Frontend Developer to develop best-in-class, intuitive design across our suite of communications and marketing tools used by five-star hotels and high net-worth guests around the world. Staytus and You Staytus helps guests connect with luxury hotels during their stay, in any language, and enjoy dining, spa, activities, retail and more at each property. Staytus also allows hotels to deliver a digital service experience to guests that exceeds traditional means. Brands including Four Seasons, Fairmont, Raffles, Anantara, Park Hyatt, Kempinski, W and Taj use Staytus. The Frontend Developerr will be one of the main contributor across the set of Staytus products: from mobile first web applications to backend dashboard. A strong understanding of both the guest and hotel user experiences, and an innate ability to design elegant, intuitive solutions is essential. What You'll Do

• Work closely with backend engineers to build the web interfaces.
• Build mobile first web interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, and secure code based on standard web development best practices.
• Create scalable solutions for client applications with asynchronous data, state management tools and reactive systems.
• Create custom flows to manage data, specifically long streams of data.
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, working well in a small team and independently with minimal supervision when necessary.
• Suggest optimal solutions to the various problems

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Remote or on-site.
• +3 years of frontend experience.
• Proficient in Git.
• Must have Javascript experience with strong mastery.
• Must have frontend framework web (preferably Vue) experience with strong mastery.
• Must have CSS experience with strong mastery (TailwindCSS will be a big plus) .
• Proficient in REST APIs.
• Proficient in performing Webpack custom builds and configurations.
• Proficient in performing Babel configurations to deal with cross-browser issues.
• Proficient of latest ES features such as async/await, hoistering, iterables, data types, arrow functions (including scoped issues).
• Having Laravel experience is a plus.
• Having InertiaJS and Websocket experience is a big plus.
• Can work with wire-framing and mockups (both UI and data).
• Can work on Monday-Friday +4GMT with reliable power and internet connection.
• Autonomy and grit, but with a sense of humour on the side.
