Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description

We are looking for a well-groomed, friendly hotel front desk to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online,Walk-in and telephonic bookings, and verifying guests' payment methods during check-in. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff.

Job Responsibilities:



Checking guests in and out. Receiving and managing reservations made online,Walk-in and telephonically. Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Obtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated. Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Accept and record wake-up call requests. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Requirements and skills



Education

: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.

Experience

: Previous experience in front desk operations in hotel, customer service, or a hospitality environment is preferred.

Language Skills

: Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic, French, or other languages is a plus.

Communication

: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse guests.

Customer Service

: A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.

Multitasking

: Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Well-presented and professional appearance. Experience with hotel reservations software, PMS Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and Expedia Competency with Microsoft Office. Ability to learn on the job. Excellent customer service skills. Must have flexible hours.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
