We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team at a leading wellness and mental health center in Abu Dhabi. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and welcoming experience while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Greeting and Check-In:

Welcome patients and visitors to the medical center with a friendly and professional demeanor. Verify patient information and update records as needed.

Appointment Scheduling:

Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the practice management software. Coordinate with medical staff to optimize the appointment calendar.

Phone Management:

Answer and direct incoming calls, address patient inquiries, take messages, and follow up as necessary.

Patient Registration and Forms:

Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, including medical history and insurance information.

Insurance Verification:

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, collect co-pays, and inform patients about any out-of-pocket expenses.

Electronic Health Records (EHR) Management:

Update and maintain patient records in the EHR system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Billing and Payments:

Process payments, provide receipts, and reconcile daily transactions. Assist with billing inquiries and communicate with the billing department as needed.

Maintain Waiting Area:

Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and comfortable for patients and visitors.

Administrative Support:

Assist with general administrative tasks, such as faxing, scanning, and filing documents. Support medical staff with special projects as required.
