La Ville Hotel and Suites City Walk Autograph Collection, part of Marriott International, is looking to hire a Front Desk Agent to support daily front office operations and deliver a smooth, professional guest experience in a lifestyle hotel setting in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
Complete cashiering, shift closing, and daily reports accurately in the system
Review shift logs and daily memo books and record relevant information in logbooks
Handle guest calls, requests, and issues by coordinating with departments such as housekeeping and bell services
Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, verifying identification, securing payment, assigning rooms, and issuing keys
Sell rooms to walk-in guests based on availability and ensure rates match approved market codes
Scan and post outlet checks from facilities such as health club and retail outlets to guest rooms
Support management in training, coaching, motivating, and guiding team members during shifts
Act as a role model and first point of contact for fair treatment and open-door processes
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly and complete all required safety training
Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of information, and protection of company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and ensure high service standards
Ideal Profile
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of front office or guest services experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or team support experience
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work shifts and remain composed in a fast-paced hotel environment
