Freelance Legal Advisor

Job Description
As a Freelance Legal Advisor, you will provide independent legal counsel to support our business operations, ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and help mitigate legal risks. You will work closely with management and cross-functional teams on a flexible, project-based basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Support business decisions with risk assessments and legal recommendations. Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external counsel when required. Assist with company policies, intellectual property matters, and dispute resolution. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; advanced law degree is a plus. Licensed to practice law in [Country/Region]. Proven experience as a legal advisor, in-house counsel, or law firm background. Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards.
Preferred Skills:
Experience advising startups or SMEs. Knowledge of labor law, intellectual property, and contract law. Familiarity with UAE laws and regulations.
