Your day to day

\xc2\xb7 Effectively supervise all services provided at the Front Desk that these are always available and are carried out efficiently as per Standard Operating Procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to and executes all job task checklist points.

\xc2\xb7 Execute the daily functions of next day arrival and departure for guests in a manner that enforces the Brand Standards.

\xc2\xb7 Perform registration process by obtaining data from guest and by observing the established guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 Review all Group Resumes, VIP reports, daily business reports.

\xc2\xb7 Perform registration process by obtaining data from guest and by observing the established guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the strict control of room keys. Supervise the key handling procedures for maximum security.

\xc2\xb7 Assist subordinates during peak periods.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all rooms which are due to check-out are checked and the daily housekeeping discrepancy reports are resolved.

\xc2\xb7 Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations which include but are not limited to Front Office policies and Accounting policies.

\xc2\xb7 Cash handling and credit processing as required, to include Gift Card redemption.

\xc2\xb7 To support the Concierge or other operational teams as required.

\xc2\xb7 Resolve guest complaints or otherwise follow up with manager.

\xc2\xb7 Review room queue and work with Housekeeping to expedite turnover.

\xc2\xb7 Reach out to guests to communicate room is ready and coordinate luggage delivery with Guest Services if luggage has been stored.

\xc2\xb7 Handle Due-Out and Discrepancy updating in communication with the Housekeeping Department.

\xc2\xb7 Post applicable charges for late check-outs requests.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare system for next day arrivals.

\xc2\xb7 Perform daily \xe2\x80\x9cbucket check report\xe2\x80\x9d against guest folio ensuring that charges are accurately posted and support receipts are properly filed/attached.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that one\'s cash report is balanced and closed at the end of the shift with remittance envelop dropped in the cash vault.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the strict control of room keys. Enforce the key handling procedures ensuring maximum security.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure proper handling and documentation of guest\'s valuables being secured in hotel safe deposit box.

\xc2\xb7 Drive and champion ALL loyalty program.

\xc2\xb7 Drive FO Up selling program.

\xc2\xb7 Be familiar with hotel services and promotions and promote them.

\xc2\xb7 Take and deliver accurate and timely guest messages.

\xc2\xb7 Respond to queries positively.

\xc2\xb7 Follow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policies

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to Hotel\'s Hygiene and HACCP standards and ensure it\'s Standard Operating Procedures and Requirements are fully met

What we need from you
  • Passion for guest service.
\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

\xc2\xb7 Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.

\xc2\xb7 Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Fluency in English, secondary language preferred

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 1 year previous proven Supervisory position or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and Guest requests.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Micros-Fidelio Property Management System an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Strong guest service orientation and training skills background required.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Experience with a Hotel loyalty program an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
