Mark Williams is working with a large Semi-government entity on an exciting new mandate to hire a commercially minded FP&A Manager to lead a vertical.
The FP&A Manager is a key member of the Finance team and pivotal to the achievement of the financial results of the business. The position oversees the financial monitoring of the business performance with a key focus on the annual budget, rolling forecasts, latest estimates, strategic plans, and financial KPIs.
Role:
- Driving insightful analysis & financial visibility through financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Working closely with the CFO, SVP of FP&A, and various executives across business units
- Financial planning including monthly/quarterly forecast & variance analysis, annual budgeting, strategic plans, and budget presentations to senior stakeholders
- Providing recommendations and insights on actions necessary to achieve financial targets, accelerate growth, and manage cost
- Advising controllers and maintaining dashboards and reports of key operating & financial performance indicators
- Taking ownership of all revenue-generating sources, including various product categories & regions
- Ensuring cash flow liquidity for investment function
- Helping to clarify roles and responsibilities and to be proactive in the development of team members
- Promoting process improvements, standardization of templates and procedures within the team
Requirements:
- Industry experience within a highly commercial retail environment
- At least 10 years of experience in financial controlling / FP&A, or a similar environment
- BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting or Business
- Accounting Qualification or MBA (equivalent) preferred
- Strong base knowledge of accounting, finance, and operational principles
- Highly ambitious with a hands-on and proactive attitude
