to join our team in maintaining and repairing forklifts and other material-handling equipment used in our metal and stainless steel production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out necessary repairs.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Coordinate with the production and logistics team to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Certification or training in forklift maintenance or mechanical trade is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
Must have knowledge to service all the Forklifts (CAT)
Must have engine knowledge for caterpillar cummins perkins engines
Preferred:
Experience in a
metal or stainless-steel manufacturing
environment.
Familiarity with various forklift brands and models.
