Supervise and lead a team of carpenters in construction, installation, repair, and finishing of wood structures and fixtures.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring work is completed on schedule.
Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and quality standards.
Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
Resolve work-related issues and provide guidance to carpentry staff.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades on-site to coordinate work.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
