Job Description

The Foreman will oversee and coordinate fabrication, installation, and dismantling activities related to event setups, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This role involves supervising site teams, liaising with project managers, and ensuring smooth workflow from workshop production to event site execution.

Supervise and lead fabrication staff, carpenters, welders, painters, and helpers in the workshop and on event sites. Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress to ensure deadlines are met. Read and interpret technical drawings, event layouts, and fabrication plans. Coordinate with the project manager and operations team for manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. Ensure all fabricated structures, event materials, and installations are made to specifications and quality standards. Conduct site inspections before, during, and after installation/dismantling activities. Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables required for fabrication and event setup. Resolve site challenges quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to event timelines. Train and mentor junior staff and new workers to improve skill levels and efficiency. Prepare daily/weekly work progress reports and submit to management.
