Job Profile :

Foreman - Steel Fixing, Managing and supervising all reinforcement works at the construction site. The role involves coordination with site teams, ensuring technical accuracy, maintaining quality standards, enforcing safety practices, and supporting progress monitoring. The position requires strong knowledge of steel fixing techniques, structural drawings, and site operations to ensure timely and quality execution of reinforcement works.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Supervising daily steel fixing activities and coordinating with engineers, chargehands, and workers.

2. Allocate tasks to steel fixers and ensure adequate manpower, tools, and materials are available.

3. Read and interpret structural drawings, reinforcement details, and BBS for accurate execution.

4. Verify cutting, bending, spacing, lapping, and fixing of rebar as per approved specifications.

5. Inspect reinforcement works before concrete pouring and ensure compliance with quality standards.

6. Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, approvals, and closing observations.

7. Enforce site safety rules, conduct toolbox talks, and report any unsafe acts or hazards.

8. Monitor material usage, request materials in advance, and ensure proper handling and storage.

9. Maintain daily records of attendance, progress, productivity, and report delays or issues to seniors.

10. Coordinate with other trades, resolve site issues, train workers, and maintain all necessary documentation.

Qualification requirements:

5-6 years of experience in Building contracting works
