About the Role

Site Foreman

Qualification:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification


Experience in similar business for at least 5 years

Skills:

Good communication and team working skills The ability to work to tight deadlines Logical thinking and being able to analyze details Clear understanding of reading construction drawings. Monitoring Site Progress, site controlling and reporting skills. Manual Driving license for light duty vehicles.

Reports to:

Project Engineer / Site Engineer



Supervise construction activities such as excavation, reinforcement, concrete works for substructure, superstructure and infrastructure works. Carry out and supervise maintenance works as per the approved Program of works. Ensures that approved drawings, method statement, risk assessment and permits are used on the site. Ensuring construction is carried out accurately, following approved drawings, plans and specifications. Inform and Coordinate with Project Engineer /Site Engineers/Supervisors of materials as per actual site requirements. Delegate work to the charge hands/ technicians, as applicable. Ensures that the workers are instructed to use the right tools and correct drawings Ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards Promotes safety awareness and adherence to safety rules as per project and company standards. To perform daily toolbox talk with the site crew and discuss the work plan on daily basis and maintain records. Other additional work instructed by Project Manager /Construction Manager from time to
