Job Summary:

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site to ensure work is performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily site operations and civil construction activities. Allocate tasks to site workers and ensure proper manpower deployment. Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met. Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure the site is prepared for work, including checking materials, tools, and safety equipment. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid delays. Maintain records of daily site activities and prepare daily work reports. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts on-site. Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper PPE use and site hygiene. Check material usage, minimize wastage, and ensure timely requisition of materials. Inspect and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition. Maintain discipline and resolve any labor issues on-site. Assist in planning work schedules and resources based on project requirements. Communicate updates, progress, and any issues to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role in civil construction. Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and materials. Ability to read technical drawings and plans. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Knowledge of health and safety standards.
