About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on
Civil Foreman
to supervise daily site operations for a bridge construction project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural works, with a proven ability to lead labor teams, coordinate site activities, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day
construction activities on site
, particularly related to bridge substructure and superstructure works (e.g., foundations, piers, girders, decking, and concrete works).
Allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements.
Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Monitor productivity, progress, and quality of work; take corrective actions where necessary.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies among the workforce.
Communicate effectively with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
Maintain daily site reports, work diaries, and labor attendance records.
Assist in planning construction sequences and provide technical guidance to the crew.
Identify site issues or risks and report them to site engineers or project managers promptly.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the worksite at all times.
What do we need from you
Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant trade certification.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience
in
civil construction
, with at least 3 years in
bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE
.
Strong understanding of
formwork, rebar, concreting, earthworks
, and
bridge erection techniques
.
Familiar with
Dubai Municipality and RTA construction site requirements
.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
Basic knowledge of construction health and safety standards.
* Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a plus.
