Key Responsibilities:
? Oversee the daily activities on the construction site, ensuring that work progresses according to the
project plan and schedule.
? Coordinate and assign tasks to construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
? Ensure that all work on the site meets the project specifications, design requirements, and quality
standards.
? Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deviations promptly.
? Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and adhering to safety regulations
and standards.
? Address and rectify safety concerns as they arise.
? Act as the point of contact between the project manager, construction teams, and other
stakeholders.
? Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
? Identify and resolve construction-related issues, challenges, and obstacles to keep the project on
track.
? Provide practical solutions to address construction problems.
? Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, work progress, and reports.
? Ensure all project-related documents are up-to-date and accessible to team members.
? Monitor project budgets and expenses related to labor, materials, and equipment.
? Work with the project management team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
? High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in construction
may be preferred.
? Proven experience as a Foreman in fitout or construction projects.
? Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety standards.
? Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
? Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
? Proficiency in using construction management software is a plus
