1. CS Welder (Carbon Steel Welder) Performs welding tasks on carbon steel components using various techniques (e.g., SMAW, GMAW/MIG, FCAW). Reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and welding requirements. Cleans, prepares, and maintains surfaces for welding. Inspects finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Operates and maintains welding equipment safely and efficiently. Adheres to safety procedures and wears appropriate protective gear. May perform other related fabrication tasks, like cutting and grinding. 2. SS Welder (Stainless Steel Welder) Performs welding tasks on stainless steel components using various techniques (e.g., GTAW/TIG, SMAW). Understands the properties of stainless steel and uses appropriate welding procedures to prevent warping or distortion. Designs, cuts, forms, joins, polishes, and finishes stainless steel components as per requirements. Conducts quality checks to ensure the fabricated structure meets standards. Ensures correct installation of the fabricated structure at the worksite. Possesses the same core skills as a CS welder, but specialized for stainless steel projects. 3. Welding Supervisor Oversees daily welding operations and ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Reviews and interprets drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Manages and schedules the work of the welding team, providing guidance and feedback. Performs quality control checks on welding work and takes corrective actions when needed. Monitors inventory of welding consumables and equipment and orders replacements. Trains and mentors welding personnel on best practices. Works with engineers, inspectors, and project managers to ensure efficient workflow. Maintains accurate records of welding activities and documentation. 4. Welding Foreman Supervises and coordinates the activities of welding personnel. Maintains productivity and quality control on-site. Reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings. Assigns tasks, monitors performance, and provides training and guidance to welders. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintains welding equipment and manages welding materials and supplies. Coordinates with other departments and addresses issues that arise during welding operations. Possesses strong knowledge of welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc) and troubleshooting skills.
