We are seeking a highly creative and experienced

Footwear Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing footwear collections that align with current fashion trends, brand aesthetics, and customer needs. This role requires a strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams from concept to final execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Create innovative and market-driven footwear designs across various categories (casual, formal, athletic, etc.). Develop initial concepts, sketches, and mood boards that reflect the brand's identity and market trends. Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and design innovations. Analyze market data and consumer insights to inform design decisions. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure design accuracy in sample making and prototyping. Review prototypes and samples, making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired look, fit, and comfort. Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure designs align with business strategies and product positioning. Attend fittings and provide feedback to ensure design specifications are met. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met from concept to final product launch. Prepare detailed technical sketches and specifications for manufacturers. Oversee the quality of the final product, ensuring it aligns with the original design concept and meets the brand's standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in footwear design. Experience in designing footwear collections for various markets (e.g., luxury, mass market, or sportswear). Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills in footwear.
