to oversee food safety standards and compliance across our operations in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing food safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to local and international regulations (e.g., Qatar Ministry of Public Health guidelines, HACCP, ISO standards).
Key Responsibilities
Monitor food safety practices and hygiene conditions across production and service areas.
Develop, implement, and update Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in accordance with HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
Conduct routine inspections and audits of food handling, storage, and preparation practices.
Ensure compliance with Qatar's food safety laws and regulations, including MOPH (Ministry of Public Health) requirements.
Investigate customer complaints and food safety incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports for audits and regulatory compliance.
Train staff on food safety standards, personal hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and suppliers on compliance matters.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a food safety or quality assurance role in Qatar or GCC region.
HACCP Level 3 or 4 certification (mandatory).
Knowledge of ISO 22000, GMP, and local food safety laws in Qatar.
Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to handle compliance-related documentation.
Valid QID and transferable visa (preferred).
