Food Safety & Hygiene Officer
to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety are maintained across all our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards across multiple kitchen and service locations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations and internal protocols (HACCP, ISO 22000).
Lead investigations on food safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Provide continuous training to kitchen and service staff on hygiene best practices.
Maintain updated records of audits, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with government and third-party inspectors during external audits.
Travel between operational sites as needed to oversee hygiene implementation.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Food Technology, Environmental Health, Microbiology, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a food safety and hygiene role, preferably in catering or large-scale hospitality operations.
In-depth knowledge of HACCP systems and UAE food safety laws.
Certification in Food Safety (Level 3 or equivalent) required.
Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.
Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
