Job Title: Food & Beverage Server / Waiter/Waitress
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B Supervisor
Job Overview:
The Food & Beverage Server is the primary point of contact for guests in the dining area. This role is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by offering prompt, courteous, and professional service, with a comprehensive knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and explain daily specials. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
• Order Delivery: Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
• Table Maintenance: Monitor guest tables to ensure satisfaction, clear finished courses, and attend to any additional requests.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) Operation: Process guest payments accurately using the POS system, handle cash, and process credit/debit card transactions.
• Upselling: Suggestively sell appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Cleanliness & Setup: Maintain a clean and organized section, including setting and resetting tables according to established standards. Assist with side duties like refilling condiments and cleaning service areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and giving change.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., ServSafe certification is a plus).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
