General Overview

Chief Accountant is a key position in Finance Department, overall in charge of the finance team to ensures timely closing of book, income and financial statement, forecasting and budgeting, cost tracking and monitoring, perform cash flow's forecasting and budgeting and working closely with the operation.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and verifying day to day journal entries variances, identifying trends, Verify/confirm payment through wire transfer, payment voucher and other related accounts transaction Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies Ensures Profits and Losses, Balance Sheet and other related reports requested by the Owners are documented accurately Cash Management, Projections, Cash Flow and Budget Preparation Prepares and records assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management Prepare adjusting and closing entries for fiscal year end, including all appropriate analyses and documentation for the ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of appropriate comparative reports and obtains related fluctuation explanations Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives Processing of Monthly Payroll, Overtime Monthly payroll process and subsequent entries in the system Maintain confidentiality of company accounts matter Oversee and monitor all financial activities of the company Overall in-charge to finance team and acting as finance head

Experience:

Team Leader in a busy restaurant of a 5-star hotel in Doha?: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

QID (Preferred) Food Handling Certificate (Preferred) * Qatar Chamber Food Handler's Training (Preferred)
