Present menus, explain food and beverage items, and make recommendations.
Take accurate guest orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks according to hotel service standards and sequence of service.
Ensure all guest requests and special dietary needs are handled professionally.
Monitor guest satisfaction during the meal and resolve any issues quickly.
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times.
Operations & Service
Prepare the restaurant or outlet before each service (setup tables, polish glassware, arrange cutlery, etc.).
Support buffet setup, room service, banquets, and other hotel F&B operations as needed.
Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
Ensure timely and accurate billing, handle payments, and process guest checks.
Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, bar, or outlet.
Follow all hotel hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
Properly handle and store equipment, glassware, and utensils.
Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are met.
Sales & Upselling
Promote daily specials and upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
Suggest wine pairings or specialty beverages to enhance guest experience.
Support marketing promotions or themed events in the hotel outlets.
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with colleagues, kitchen, and service teams to ensure efficient operation.
Attend daily briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
Report any maintenance issues, shortages, or guest complaints to the supervisor.
Assist in training new team members when required.
