Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
5-8 years of experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in beverages (soft drinks, juices, water, energy drinks)
Minimum 3-4 years in a supervisory or senior sales role
Strong knowledge of FMCG sales operations, route-to-market execution, and retail distribution
Experience managing traditional trade, modern trade, and HoReCa accounts
Good understanding of sales reporting, basic budgeting, pricing, and promotions
Familiarity with food & beverage compliance and retail standards
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
POSITION PURPOSE
:
We are seeking a proactive and performance-driven
Sales Supervisor
to support and execute sales operations within our FMCG distribution business, with a strong emphasis on beverages. The role is responsible for supervising the field sales team, ensuring effective market coverage, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets through disciplined execution and team leadership
DUTIES AND RESONPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Execute sales plans and targets assigned by management
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets
Ensure effective implementation of promotions, price changes, and product launches
Support market intelligence gathering including competitor activity and customer feedback
Team Leadership & Management:
Supervise, guide, and motivate sales representatives to achieve assigned KPIs
Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance and sales execution standards
Provide on-the-job coaching, training, and corrective feedback
Ensure discipline, attendance, and route compliance of the sales team
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail outlets
Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising at outlets
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly in coordination with management
Support negotiation of shelf space, displays, and promotional placements
Distribution & Stock Coordination:
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
Monitor stock levels at outlets to prevent stock-outs or excess inventory
Ensure correct order taking, invoicing, and delivery follow-ups
Support cold-chain compliance where applicable
Market Expansion & Brand Promotion:
Ensure complete territory coverage as per route plans
Identify new outlets and expansion opportunities within assigned areas
Support onboarding of new customers and distributors.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Track KPIs such as volume, value, distribution, and productivity
Share actionable insights with Sales Manager / General Manager
