An FMCG manufacturing firm is looking for a female lab assistant who must posses the following must be BSC chemistry.
1) Ensuring safety and quality of food products by studying and managing microorganisms.
2) Testing food samples, identifying harmful microbes, developing foo safety protocols and researching ways to prevent food spoilage and foodborne illness.
3) Performing various tests on food samples, including pathogen detection (e.g., Salmonella, E. coli), spoilage organism detection, and assessing overall microbial load.
4) Isolating and identifying specific microorganisms found in food samples using various techniques.
5) Monitoring the food production environment (e.g., equipment, surfaces, air) for microbial contamination.
6) Creating and implementing procedures to prevent and control microbial contamination throughout the food production process.
7) investigate foodborne illness outbreaks by identifying the source and cause of contamination.
8) Maintaining detailed records of testing results, research findings, and implemented protocols.
9) Overseeing the work of in laboratory and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
10) Conduct standardized tests on food, additives, and preservatives in order to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as color, texture, and nutrients.
11) Record and compile test results, and prepare graphs, charts, and reports.
12) Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment.
Requirements:
1. Experience in FMCG food lab industry, at least 1 year experience
