Position Summary

The Flower Shop Assistant supports daily shop operations, helps prepare floral arrangements, and provides excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Greet customers and assist them in choosing flowers, bouquets, and gifts. Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and occasions. Handle customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through messaging apps.
Floral Preparation

Assist in preparing bouquets, flower arrangements, and gift baskets. Trim, water, and maintain fresh flowers and plants. Ensure all floral products meet quality and design standards.
Shop Operations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, workstations, and storage areas. Monitor flower inventory, restock supplies, and report shortages. Process sales transactions and manage cash/point-of-sale operations. Package orders carefully for delivery or customer pickup Requirements: Previous experience in a flower shop or retail environment is an advantage. Basic knowledge of flowers and floral arrangements (training can be provided). Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work with hands on cutting, trimming, and arranging flowers. Physically able to stand for long hours and handle light to medium lifting. Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special event days.

Pay: KD200.000 - KD300.000 per month
