What You Will Be Doing
The primary responsibilities of the Florist include:
Design & Creation:
Expertly design and assemble a wide variety of fresh floral arrangements, including bouquets, centerpieces, hat boxes, wreaths, and custom designs for daily orders and special events (weddings, corporate, etc.).
Customer Service:
Consult with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs, advise on flower choices, and handle custom order requests.
Flower Care:
Perform proper conditioning, trimming, and watering of flowers and plants to maintain freshness and prolong their life span.
Inventory & Display:
Monitor stock levels of flowers and supplies, assist with ordering, and create visually appealing, tidy displays within the shop.
Operational Support:
Keep the floral design station and storage chiller clean, organized, and ensure all orders are accurately prepared and packaged for delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum
3 years of professional experience
as a Florist or Floral Designer is mandatory.
Skills:
Strong artistic ability, excellent knowledge of flower varieties, care techniques, and a proven track record of creating high-quality, appealing designs.
Communication:
Basic proficiency in English is required to interact with customers and colleagues.
Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods, perform manual tasks, and handle/lift flower buckets and materials.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
AED 3,500 per month.
Schedule:
Full-Time (Specific hours and day off will be detailed in the contract).
