Floor Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Floor Supervisor is the on-the-floor leader during service, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional and consistent service. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this role is hands-on, focusing on the real-time coordination of the service team, maintaining standards, and supporting servers and runners to create a smooth and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Service Coordination:
• Oversee the dining room during service, managing table turnover and seating in conjunction with the host team.
• Ensure all service standards and sequences are being followed by the team.
• Act as a communication link between the front-of-house and the kitchen.
• "Expedite" or coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the guests.
• Team Support:
• Provide immediate support to servers and assistants, helping with large tables or complex orders.
• Monitor side-work and station setup to ensure the dining room is prepared for service.
• Lead by example, demonstrating impeccable service techniques and product knowledge.
• Quality Control:
• Check tables before, during, and after service for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure all food and beverages leaving the pass meet quality and presentation standards.
• Address minor guest issues proactively before they escalate.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Senior Server or Captain in a full-service restaurant.
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• A team-oriented attitude with a focus on mentorship.
