Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule
regular maintenance
and servicing of trucks.
Handle
breakdowns and repairs
by finding garages/mechanics at the best price and time.
Maintain
vehicle documents
, registrations, passing, and insurance schedules.
Track
fuel efficiency
,
mileage
, and
vehicle expenses
.
Supervise
drivers
, ensuring proper conduct, uniforms, attendance, and discipline.
Maintain
driver performance records
and assign trips efficiently.
Handle
RTA, insurance, and police-related documentation
when needed.
Report daily status of each vehicle to the management.
Ensure
safety standards
and
fleet compliance
with UAE transport laws.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in fleet supervision or similar role.
Strong knowledge of
UAE truck maintenance
, RTA processes, and road rules.
Fluent in
Hindi
and
basic English
; Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours and attend to breakdowns after hours if required.
Strong negotiation skills for dealing with garages, workshops, and drivers.
Must have basic computer/smartphone skills to update records.
