Reports To: Transport Manager We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to take charge of our construction fleet. As the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall health and performance of our vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and ready to support our projects. You will wear many hats, from managing maintenance and repairs to overseeing logistics and compliance. Responsibilities: Vehicle and Equipment Management: \xc2\xb7 Oversee the maintenance and repair of all construction vehicles and equipment, including preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and troubleshooting. \xc2\xb7 Manage fuel consumption and optimize fuel efficiency. \xc2\xb7 Track and manage vehicle and equipment utilization to ensure project needs are met. \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular inspections and ensure vehicles comply with all safety regulations. Logistics and Administration: \xc2\xb7 Schedule vehicle and equipment assignments to support project requirements. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of all vehicle and equipment data, including maintenance history, fuel usage, and compliance documents. \xc2\xb7 Process and track fuel cards and vehicle permits. \xc2\xb7 Manage and oversee the fleet budget. Leadership and Collaboration: \xc2\xb7 Supervise and motivate fleet technicians and operators. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth project execution. \xc2\xb7 Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in fleet operations. \xc2\xb7 Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the fleet team. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a construction fleet management role. \xc2\xb7 Proven understanding of construction equipment and maintenance procedures. \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational and time management skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Proficient in MS Office Suite and fleet management software (preferred). \xc2\xb7 Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record. \xc2\xb7 A commitment to safety and compliance.
