We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical components and structures in our manufacturing facility.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fitting requirements Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications using various hand and power tools Assemble and install mechanical components, ensuring proper alignment and fit Perform welding tasks as needed to join metal parts and components Conduct quality checks to ensure all fittings meet required standards and specifications Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Document work completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in fitting or related field preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or construction environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Expertise in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Strong knowledge of various fitting techniques and procedures Ability to measure and cut materials accurately with attention to detail Welding skills preferred Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations Knowledge of materials commonly used in fitting processes Relevant trade certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
