We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out)

with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in both

pre-contract and post-contract

stages, with a strong background in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements.

Key Responsibilities:Pre-Contract:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs based on drawings/specifications. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost planning. Assist in tender preparation and pricing. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and ensure alignment with project scope. Provide value engineering proposals to achieve cost efficiency.

Post-Contract:

Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring financial control throughout. Manage and certify subcontractor payments and valuations. Prepare and issue variations and claims in coordination with the project team. Track and manage project costs, identifying and resolving deviations. Final account preparation and agreement with clients/subcontractors.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years

of proven experience in a fit-out contracting firm. Strong knowledge of commercial fit-out projects (interiors, retail, F&B, corporate offices, etc.). Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel). Familiar with standard forms of contract (FIDIC is a plus). Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes:

RICS or equivalent certification is an advantage. UAE/GCC experience preferred (if applicable). Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
