A leading Fitout firm specializing in high-end fitout projects in Dubai are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fitout MEP Design Lead to join their team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Fitout MEP Design Lead with 15 years of extensive experience in managing MEP design aspects of fitout projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the context of high-end commercial and residential fitout projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of MEP designers and engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Management: Oversee the MEP design process for fitout projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall design concept.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of MEP designs, reviewing drawings and specifications to identify and resolve potential issues.

Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest advancements in MEP technology and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.

Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding MEP design matters, addressing their concerns and providing insightful recommendations.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of MEP installations, resolving on-site issues promptly and efficiently.

Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor MEP design-related budgets and schedules, identifying opportunities for optimization without compromising quality or safety standards.

Compliance: Ensure all MEP designs adhere to local regulations, codes, and standards, obtaining necessary approvals and permits from relevant authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP design for fitout projects, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to MEP systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
