Interior Designer with experience in Fit-Out projects
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design solutions for commercial, retail, hospitality, and/or residential fit-out projects. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality, functional, and visually compelling interior environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret client requirements and develop design concepts for interior fit-out projects.
Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, and material specifications.
Create space planning, layout, and furniture arrangement to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), material schedules, and specification documents.
Coordinate with in-house and external teams (MEP, civil, joinery) for seamless execution.
Manage procurement and sourcing of materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories.
Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and local authority guidelines.
Supervise on-site implementation and ensure quality control during the fit-out process.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in interior design, preferably in
commercial/residential fit-out
.
Proficient in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
Solid understanding of fit-out processes, materials, and construction techniques.
Experience working with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
Prior work experience in
turnkey fit-out
or
design-and-build
companies.
Knowledge of local building codes and authority approval processes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc., if applicable).
Ability to work on fast-track projects with tight deadlines.
Work Environment:
Office-based with frequent site visits and client meetings.
May require occasional overtime or weekend site visits during project execution.
