We are seeking a talented and experienced

Fitout Interior Designer / Architect

to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision for interior spaces combined with robust technical skills in fit-out design, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and project estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop innovative and functional interior fit-out designs for various projects (e.g., corporate offices, retail spaces, residential units). Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, 2D layouts, 3D renderings, and material specifications. Produce detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation for fit-out works.

Accurately prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

for all fit-out components, materials, and labor, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Conduct thorough cost estimations

for fit-out projects, considering materials, labor, overheads, and profit margins. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, translate concepts into design solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure design integrity, material availability, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any design or technical issues that arise. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and fit-out. Ensure all designs and documentation comply with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

in interior fit-out design and execution, specifically within the [mention relevant industry, e.g., commercial, residential, hospitality] sector.

Demonstrable expertise in preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and accurate cost estimations.

Proficiency in design software, including but not limited to: AutoCAD (essential) SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit (for 3D modeling and rendering) Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and finishes relevant to fit-out projects. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and external partners. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
